The Gentlemen ransomware gang has listed a Washington state eye care clinic on its leak site, claiming it stole internal data from the practice.

Trackers logged the Eyecare Center of Snohomish listing on August 21. GalaxyWarden rated it high severity and noted the claim is unverified, while RansomLook carried the same entry the same day. The clinic has not publicly confirmed an intrusion.

Eyecare Center of Snohomish offers medical eye exams, diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases, and a full optical boutique with custom-fitted contact lenses and designer frames. Like many independent vision practices, it holds patient charts, insurance details, and prescription records while running on a small team.

The Gentlemen gang has been active against healthcare targets this summer, with claims against providers including home care and pharmacy businesses. Vision practices are a growing target because they often sit inside larger retail or insurance networks while running less mature security programs.

For optometry and ophthalmology practices, the claim is a reminder that eye records, including diagnoses and contact lens prescriptions, are protected health information. Clinics should confirm electronic health records are patched, require multi-factor authentication for remote access, and limit vendor access to patient data to what the business actually needs.
