The Krybit ransomware group has added an Indian laboratory instruments manufacturer to its leak site, according to tracker listings dated August 12.
Labindia Instruments, a Mumbai-based company founded in 1982, makes analytical instruments and lab equipment used in pharmaceutical, clinical diagnostics, and food testing laboratories. The listing surfaced alongside claims against a Singapore marine logistics firm and another company, part of a wider batch of victims disclosed the same day.
Neither Labindia nor Krybit has detailed what data was taken, and ransomware claims are routinely exaggerated or unverified. The listing was recorded independently by ransomware.live and RansomLook, which both track leak site posts.
Lab equipment makers sit at a sensitive point in the healthcare supply chain, since their customers include hospitals, testing labs, and drug manufacturers, and their business records can map supplier and client relationships across the industry. Organizations that buy instruments from Labindia should confirm whether the claim touches their data and review any credentials that may have been exposed.
The claim extends Krybit’s recent focus on healthcare-adjacent targets, which included a Singapore clinic group in early August.
