The Insomnia extortion crew has named Metropolitan Community Health Services, the organization behind Agape Health Services, on its dark-web leak site.
Agape operates as a federally qualified health center and certified community behavioral health clinic, offering sliding-scale primary and preventive care, dentistry, pharmacy and behavioral health, plus mobile units and reentry programs. Leak-site monitors logged the listing on September 14 and estimated the intrusion began around August 24. The post carried no data samples and no victim count, so the scope remains unproven and the health center has not confirmed a breach.
Insomnia has kept healthcare in its sights this year, with earlier claims involving a Tulsa foot and ankle clinic chain and a Maryland rehabilitation center.
Safety-net providers are attractive targets because an outage can cut off care for patients with few alternatives, and their thin margins leave little room for incident response contracts. Treatments that cannot be deferred, prescription refills and behavioral health appointments are the services most exposed when a community health center loses network access. Regulators have started pointing to downtime procedures and paper-based contingency plans as the minimum standard for keeping care running during an attack.
